The five steps
Connect your Ring cameras
Sign in with your Ring account and choose which cameras to monitor. No new hardware, no installation, setup takes a few minutes.
AI reviews motion clips
When your cameras detect motion, our AI watches a short clip, writes a plain-language summary, and the clip is discarded after processing. We do not keep your footage in a searchable archive.
Get summaries by email or SMS
Three times a day, overnight, midday, and evening, you'll receive a digest summarizing what happened. Each summary includes the key moments and any concerns worth noting.
Know when something's off
Our system learns your loved one's daily patterns. If there's an unusual stretch of quiet, like no motion by mid-morning when they're usually up, you'll get a gentle alert.
Decide whether to check in
Read the digest with your morning coffee. If everything looks normal, no call needed. If something stands out, tap into your Ring app or pick up the phone. The relationship reframes from check-up to connection.
And when it cannot wait
The five steps above are the daily rhythm. A possible fall does not follow it.

A clip comes back looking like someone went down and did not get up.

A priority email and text go out to every recipient on the account, right away.
- You decide
Call her, call a neighbor, or call 911. Beside Care does not make that call for you.
Fall detection is best effort. It works from limited camera views, so it will not catch every fall, and it can flag things that were not falls. Beside Care is not a medical or emergency-response device. See what a priority alert looks like.

Most days, a calm digest is all you need.- Tell Beside Care what to watch for, like mobility, routine, nutrition, safety, or social activity. Each digest reflects the signals that matter to you.
What we do NOT do
A few clear lines we will not cross.
- No facial recognition. We do not identify people by face.
- We do not transcribe or summarize conversations. Audio cues like a loud bang or a call for help are used as brief context only, never stored for later review.
- No continuous recording. Clips are analyzed for motion events, then discarded.
- No replacing daily phone calls. A digest is a starting point, not a substitute for the people in your loved one's life.
