What Beside Care sends you

Three calm digests a day, so you know how the day went. And, if a camera sees what looks like a fall, one email that does not wait for the next digest.

These are visual replicas of the actual emails Beside Care sends to caregivers. Plain language, no footage to watch. The persona is illustrative: Linda is the caregiver in our examples, and Margaret is her elderly parent at home.

Beside Care

Midday Summary (May 11)

Hi Linda,

May 11, 10:00 AM to May 11, 4:00 PM

How things looked

It seemed like a fairly active afternoon. Margaret moved between the bedroom and living room throughout midday, and a friend stopped by to help tidy up. A bit later, someone vacuumed and mopped the floors. As the afternoon wound down, Margaret was helped into a light coat near the front door.

Your observation checklist

And the one that does not wait

Fall detection is best effort. Cameras miss things, and Beside Care does not call 911 or send anyone. What it does is tell you fast, so you can.

One thing to know

Beside Care is not an emergency service and does not call 911. If you cannot reach her, call her, then call 911.

What you will not see

Beside Care is summaries first. Live View is opt-in. By design, your digests never contain:

  • Live video clips embedded in your digests.
  • Facial recognition output. We do not use it, ever.
  • Medical interpretations. Beside Care is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical care.
  • Raw camera feeds streamed to your inbox.

Ready when you are

Beside Care runs on the Ring cameras already in the home. Nothing new to buy, nothing for your parent to wear.
