One alert when the house goes quiet for too long

You can now ask Beside Care to tell you when your cameras have recorded no motion for longer than you choose. It sends one alert per quiet stretch, never a stream of them, and it stays silent during the hours you mark as sleep.

Where to find it: in the portal, open Settings, then Notifications, and look under Alerts for Quiet alert. New accounts meet it during setup, on the notification schedule step.

How to use it: turn it on, choose how much quiet should pass before we alert you, from one hour up to a full day, and set a wake time and a sleep time. Minutes inside that sleep window do not count toward the threshold, so a normal night does not trigger it. Then pick where to send it, email or text message. Nothing is turned on until you save.

One more thing: when your daily check-in mentions a long quiet stretch, that note now uses the same wake and sleep window you set here, so the two never disagree about what counts as a long time.
